Career Assessment
Use CareerDirect’s comprehensive online career assessment (https://careerdirect.org/assets/resources/sample-reports/en/detailedreport.pdf) tool plus a questionnaire to understand your personality, natural interests, skills, and values. The assessment and report are available in 26 languages.
Career Consulting
A three-hour session with an experienced career consultant who explains the career assessment and provides career guidance to career options. The fee includes a career assessment.
Career Coaching
Personalized session with a career coach to develop a plan to get to your desired career. The fee depends on the goals and duration of sessions.
About Me
My mission is to help people discover how they are designed, celebrate that unique design, and find fulfillment and satisfaction in their work. My goal is to see you flourish.
I spent the last 30 years working in the media sector in Asia as well as teaching at various universities in Singapore and education institutions in the US.
Throughout my career, I have met people from different walks of life and different cultures. Some love what they are doing; others tolerate their jobs. The difference: those who thrive regardless of circumstances are doing what they have been designed to do, and whose work is in sync with their values at that particular stage of life. Hence, they find work/studies a pleasure, not a chore.
I believe Kavanah Career Consulting can help you discover and affirm your unique design, and clarify your career choices. Finding a career/course of study based on how who you are and what you value, rather than based on societal expectations, can set you free to find meaning in your work.
